  • Ackley Park

    Ackley Park is one of Elk City's featured attractions. It's home to our Centennial Carousel which features a 36 hand-carved wooden horses, Open:  Memorial Day weekend through the end of July 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Wednesday thru Sunday. The month of August-Friday and Saturday 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.  It's also home to a 18 hole Old Town Miniature Golf course, the Choctaw Express Miniature Train and a public swimming pool. 

  • Route 66 Museum

    The National Route 66 Museum focuses on the people who lived, worked and traveled the "Mother Road" and offers visitors a classic walk through all eight states, highlighted by realistic murals and vignettes depicting the eras of the road and the interesting places that made Route 66 so famous. As you travel along, you can listen to recorded histories and personal accounts of the road from overhead audio kiosks. 

  • The Old Town Museum

    Early Oklahoma pioneer life can be experienced as visitors wander through this grand two-story Victorian house. The lower level of the house filled with early pioneer life, Stars & Stripes Room, Native American Gallery, and Elk City's own Susan Powell Miss America 1981 displays among the many sites to see. The upper level is focuses on our beloved early cowboy and rodeo way of life. 

  • The Blacksmith Museum

    Visitors to the Blacksmith Museum can view how blacksmiths created objects from iron or steel by forging the metal by using tools to hammer, bend, and cut. Blacksmiths produce things like wrought iron gates, grills, railings, light fixtures, furniture, sculptures, tools, agricultural implements, decorative and religious items, cooking utensils, horseshoes, and weapons.

  • The Farm and Ranch Museum

    The Farm and Ranch Museum is sponsored by the Western Oklahoma Historical Society. The museum features a vast collection of tools that were used in early farm and ranch life. A Blacksmith shop and windmill collection are among the exhibits depicting pioneer farmers and ranchers and their contributions to this nation.

  • Elk City Golf & Country Club

    The course is joint venture between the municipal government of Elk City and private citizens who are members at Elk City Golf & Country Club. As it stands, the golf course is laid out on public land, but privately operated by the elected Board of Directors of Elk City Golf & Country Club, a private club. It boosts regulation 18 Holes, a practice green, chipping areas, a driving range, rental carts & equipment and much more. 
     

  • Elk City Lake

    Located just south of town, Elk City Lake is perfect for a day with friends, family or just a relaxing day at the lake.  The park itself is 750 acres and the lake is 250 acres (regularly stocked with fish).  There are picnic areas, campgrounds, playgrounds for kids, outdoor grills for gathering, hiking trails and 2 boat ramps and a fishing dock.

  • Movie Theatre

  • Mountain Man Axe Throwing

    Mountain Man’s Axe Throwing & Grub offers a unique atmosphere to enjoy great food and axe throwing sure to be fun for all ages! Their goal is to provide a place for all ages to have an amazing time.  Disconnecting from the stresses of the world and cheering each other on as everyone gets better at throwing axes is amazingly therapeutic!  For those who don’t think axe throwing is for them, let them know it is also a blast to watch others.

  • Round Top Farm Pumpkin Patch & Natural Soaps

    Round Top Farm is a family farm located in Southwestern Oklahoma.  We have a petting zoo, pumpkin picking, hay rides and also fun activities for the young ones. Round Top Farm also has locally churned soaps for sale all year round. We offer goat milk, coconut milk and vegan soap. All made and packaged right here in Port, America D. We are excited to open up the gates and have some fun!
